Tom Fairclough

Managing Director and Founder

Tom founded RGI Marine with a clear vision:  to reinvigorate the marine industry such that it has the tools to survive and thrive into the future. Prior to the creation of RGI Marine, Tom has 17 years operational and commercial experience with senior roles in Europe, USA, Asia, and Australia. Most recently he was Director and General Manager of MMA Offshore Asia in Singapore with overall accountability for the business in the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Tom firmly believes that a disciplined and focused approach will deliver optimised outcomes, regardless of market conditions.

John Giddens

Non-Executive Director

Businessman and private investor with over 40 years operational and management experience in the offshore marine and subsea industries. John was the Founder and CEO of AIM listed Hallin Marine (sold in 2010), which developed and operated a fleet of dynamically positioned offshore support vessels. Latterly he is the co-founder and CEO of DSV owner Tasik Subsea and is excited by the challenge of developing new Offshore Support Vessels focussed on reducing impact on the environment through environmentally friendly propulsion systems.

Nick Tobin

Chief Operating Officer

Nick has 18 years client focused and delivery orientated commercial, management and leadership experience including two operational tours with the British Army. He has worked extensively across the Asia Pacific and Europe and has a deep understanding of marine shipping, logistics and commodities markets. Prior to RGI, Nick spent 8 years at Braemar where he was instrumental in building a fledging dry bulk team into the foremost desk in the market.

Nick is a firm believer that the principles of preparation, planning, discipline, and constant education will deliver success.
